Once again this year, Casting for Recovery will hold its annual retreat at the Sacred Hearts retreat center in Wareham. The dates are August 4th through the 6th, 2006. This program is designed for women dealing with breast cancer. This is a mutually supportive, healing event where a group of women who have or have had this insidious disease spend a weekend together, at no cost to them. We teach them fly fishing from soup to nuts in a caring supportive environment by the sea. It is quite an uplifting outing for these women and the bonds formed last a lifetime.
